The Aeronautical Communication Department

The Aeronautical Communication Department is one of the departments of the Directorate of Technical investment at the DGCA

The main tasks of this department are the following:

- Operating the telecommunications at the Civil Aviation

- Operating the meteorological communications

- Telegrams distribution.

This department consists of three divisions:

1- The Air Communications division that is in charge of operating the Civil Aviation Communications.

2- The Metrological Communications division that handles the distribution and operation of meteorological communications.

3- The Communications Observation division: It is concerned of setting the communications programs, working on developing them, as well as planning the Training programs. In addition to observing the telegrams path and preparing the Telegrams fees and bills records.
